   dear volks

   i tried to export what i developed on http://vierakucera.mappingmymind.net/ to a new site: http://viera-kucera.net/ . And as it was recommanded, in order to export the blog, i first changed the address in "settings" section in the wordpress interface on my old site. then i downladed everything, and uploaded everything again to my new site.

   but something went wrong. As you can see, the first page on the old site works properly, but all the links point to the new website, so i cannot even login anymore at http://vierakucera.mappingmymind.net/wp-admin . i also get the "Error establishing a database connection" error.

   Can i somewhere change the address settings via my ftp server?
   wp-config.php is set up correctly.
   im not sure about my version (i cannot look it up :P )

   any help is very appreciated.

   hey esmi.

   thanks, you were right.
   it was in the section "Moving WordPress Within Your Site">"If you forget to change the locations " and then, as option2 recommanded, i changed the entries of my mysql database.
