   I'm using the standard text widgets that come with WordPress. We recently changed our template and now the text widgets won't update. I'll put the new content in, then save, but nothing happens - the content is gone. It also won't let me delete or change text widgets with existing content.

   Any suggestions?

   Did you use the text widget with your old theme? If "yes", then re-activate your old theme, remove the text widgets and save your changes. Then re-activate your new theme and set your text widgets back up again.
