ringerI am developing a website under a sub directory url of a website i use purely for developing.
I have successfully transferred the database over to the new url and it is live, however, some of the meta information that is shown in the live database is still not displaying in the live site.
Its boggling to me! If i go into the post (wp-admin backend), manually re add those fields again and click update post, then the fields will display live on the site and also update the database.
Yet.... if i go into the post meta fields in the database and manualy change it and update it there, it does not alter a thing on the site!
Ive checked a hundred times and more and still can not work out why the database will let me update but not show the results live on the site, yet will do so if i publish the post in wp-admin (backend)!
Anyone have any thoughts?
