SQL errors during 71 -> 72 upgrade script

Running 0.72 rc1 on apache. I just got 0.71 up the other day, have made no changes to speak of to the codebase.
1) I deleted all the files except b2config.php.
2) I uploaded the 0.72rc1 package
3) I edited and renamed wp-config.php, providing sql connection info.
Tried to go to http://halr9000.com/wp-admin/upgrade-071-to-072.php and click next and I get this:
