SQL Deleting

Hi, I needed to delete my media because it was full and I wasn’t able to upload anything else. So, I made some researches and I had the recommendation for going to SQL and delete the media file in there, BUT it didn’t shrink my space. I lost all of my media but I also needed my disk space to decrease in order, but it didn’t happen.

So, is there anyway that I can make more space or bring my media back so I can deleted it in wordpress media.
