    Can anyone help, I have set up a child theme of this wonderful theme (thanks for all your hard work and continuing support Caroline.) What I would like to do is either make the footer display permanently or preferably make the sidebar link display constantly. I have changed the colour and opacity in the child theme, but to no avail. Is there anyway of having the sidebar link display all the time. If it is a question of colour which one should I use or do I need to turn off the hover function if so how?

    Try setting the sidebar wrapper, I believe it’s #secondary, to display: block; in your child theme or custom CSS plugin.

    I am new to css and “I believe it’s #secondary, to display: block; in your child theme or custom CSS plugin.” does not make any sense to me, can you just show the actually text that is there and then show the text that makes the footer show all the time?

    My sidebar is only showing on my nook and then only share buttons. I need a subscribe button in plain view please help!!!
