Hi There
I am doing a sports leaderboard site in wordpress whereby we go around to school and track the fastest runners in each school. I was wondering if there is a score leaderboard plugin i could use for this? Or is there a way to do this somehow?

Breathing new life into this thread. I've searched high and low and I can't find a single plugin for WP that can do this.
I wanted a custom leaderboard as well for tracking results at local races. Ideally users can submit their own times and time slips along with other details.
Volkswagen has a custom Leaderboard on their WP site: http://thinkblue.vw.com/leaderboard/
But trying to pick apart their HTML I couldn't find any author or info that explains anything more about it.. I'd even be willing to pay for a premium version too. Betting lots of people would.

I eventually ended up developing my own custom plugin that I have used on a site for Puma. I can look at doing a custom development for your site. If you would like me to look into it you can contact me at james@gloo.co.za , in the future I will be releasing the plugin as a premium plugin

add my voice to this.
Also, I would like to be able to customize it for things other than sports.
ideally, the data would be able to be imported via csv upload. if you have more than 50 participants, then it can get cumbersome to update each one.

If you look at the VW site, they use BuddyPress to accomplish this. Each entry in the leaderboard is attached to a users profile page which is created using BuddyPress.
Novel use of BuddyPress I must say!
