Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
[resolved] Spell Check option? (from Jetpack mod) (3 posts)

Firstly thanks for creating this widget - it is useful in conjunction with SiteOrigin's Page Builder.

I was looking for a spell check option, and came across Automattic's Jetpack. It comes with a number of other features (some I like, some I don't) but the spell check option is the feature that "sold me".

I installed the package, went back to a general page edit... and lo and behold, no spell check option. I disabled the plugin, which restored the inbuilt WordPress editor - which *has* the spell check now available. But upon disabling the plug in, any text created using the BlackStudio editor _and_ Page Builder goes away. Have both in place, and the pages look as they are supposed to look.

Is it possible to add the spellcheck feature to the Black Studio TinyMCE widget package please? If I can do it, any ideas of how?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi there,
in older versions of Jetpack there was a conflict with our plugin caused by their spellchecker module (After the deadline), so we were forced to explicitely exclude it from the toolbar in editor instances used for the widgets (read this topic for details).
Luckily now I found a way to let our plugin play together with latest version of Jetpack, so the next release of Black Studio TinyMCE will include a compatibility fix for this issue.

Please check the new version 1.3.0 just released, which has the support for the Jetpack After the deadline spell check plugin.
