Hello,
I used the couple few days trying to speed up my site, but I have no knowledge in programming and html/php whatsoever.
I read I should be able to cache and enable gzip compression. The first one I did using 2 plugins (wp-cache and wp-widged cache), but I cannot make plugins devoted to gzip work.
Would you suggest one or tell me another way to do so?
My site is here.
I'm basing myself on tools like http://www.gidnetwork.com/tools/gzip-test.php , YSlow for firefox and similars.
Thanks a lot.

FOr the gzip part of the problem, I tried a couple plugins (gzippy, gzip output), but none seemed to work. Maybe because of the new version?

Out of the blues, it looks like gzip is working.
Any comments and/or suggestions are highly appreciated.

I'll change it to resolved since it seems to be working, but I'd aprreciate some feedback, since Yslow is still telling me to compress some stuff.

Go to http://ismyblogworking.com/YOURSITENAME.com and check if Gzip is enabled! if not :
Just install wp HTTP compression plugin, and you're done,
note: wp super cache + wp http compression, both will accelerate your site loading time and improve its performance! (to everybody who still with the same problem)
