Hi,
The purpose of this plugin is to display one map in a widget (as stated in the description)
There are 2 plugins more suited for your purpose: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-geo/ and http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/geo-mashup/
They are designed to handle posts with geolocation
Have you tried them ?
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately they’re not nearly as slick as Google Maps Widget. I would really like to keep the click map for a larger lightbox map functionality.
Is anyone else able to weigh in on my original question.
Is it possible to specify the address via a custom field, so that the widget shows a different map location for each post?
Hi, that feature is on our to-do list but unfortunately it’s not available at this time. Only thing you could do now is modify the code a bit and hack it yourself until we push out the next version.
Here is the hack that you could use provided you have set following metadata in your post: geo_latitude, geo_longitude, geo_zoom, geo_address
edit gmw-widget.php and locate widget() function

Hope this helps
Cheers
@franceimage – thank you for helping out!
@franceimage – sorry total noob here with how to integrate php codes and how to apply them in a post. Could you show a step by step on how to do this and as well as how it is implemented. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks!
