    Hi,
I use "Share This" like nobody's business - it's really helped with our nonprofit's site and our social media content. Saying that, there's one issue that I can't seem to work around that, I believe, is driving down traffic from social media onto our sites.
When I "share" a post on facebook or twitter, the name of our website is attached to the top of the shared post. (Example : "Check out this story: 'website.wordpress.org' - overall description of website"). Ideally, I'd love to have the link show the name of the post that we're sharing (Example: "Check out this story: 'sarah's story' - today I walked into a bar...").
Could someone help me out here?

You can achieve this simply using "st properties" or "OG tags".

If you have implemented ShareThis manually on your website -
To share the desired content you can use "st" property, for example to share a particular title you can use "st_title" property
you can know more about it from here: http://support.sharethis.com/customer/portal/articles/475079-share-properties-and-sharing-custom-information

And if you have installed a ShareThis WP Plugin -
You Can use Open Graph Tags to specify the content to be shared. Like to share particular title you can use "og:title" tag
You can know more about it from here -
