    Hi!

I'm extending your plugin as described http://postieplugin.com/extending/ playing with regex, in my tests outside de plugin, and also outside wordpress (I mean in a single php file), my regex codes work fine, but when i'm putting them to work inside postie it seems to fail when I need to find words with spanish special chars (áà,í,èé,òó,ú...) What am I doing wrong? any suggestion?

Thanks in advance and good job!

    Could you provide some examples?

    Example:

In a plain php file this regex expression: "/E-mail:([^;]*) Día:/" returns the content between e-mail and "día" but inside postie simply does nothing cos the "í" of "Día"

I expect the locale settings between the machine you're testing on and the machine Postie is installed on is different. Perhaps you can use the unicode flag? http://www.php.net/manual/en/reference.pcre.pattern.modifiers.php

    "/E-mail:([^;]*) Día:/u"

Hi; Thanks for the answer, but I'm still the same

Both tests are under the same server, the difference is only that one test is in a simple php and the other is inside filterPostie.php, I know that this is not a postie itself issue, but if you have any other idea(s) I'll apreciate it so much.

    Thanks again :)
