   Hi there,
   I have a pinging issue. I have installed cbnet Ping Optimizer to help manage the ping spamming.
   This did not help.

   I removed the URI from the update settings
   This has not helped.

   I have deactivated cbnet
   and still i have getting 25 - 30 moderates a day after every revision or new post.

   Please advise. thanks

   Use the settings at:

   Admin Dashboard>Settings>Discussion>Comment Moderation>Set to 1

   and then:

   Admin Dashboard>Settings>Discussion>Comment Blacklist> and add:

   http
   ftp
   www
   url

   and maybe

   bad word 1
   bad word 2
   etc.

   Make sure to save settings.

   This will mark the majority of comment spam as spam. Simply add text above your comment box that states any comments with links or profanity shall be marked as spam. If a human misses this point, oh well. Empty spam occasionally.
