Spam Karma and Database Error

    My ‘puter crashed for a few days and I am just now getting back online. I was told via email that there is a problem with comments. I just tried it and yep, there is.

    WordPress database error: [Duplicate entry ‘6412’ for key 1]
    INSERT INTO wp_comments (comment_post_ID, comment_author, comment_author_email, comment_author_url, comment_author_IP, comment_date, comment_date_gmt, comment_content, comment_approved, comment_agent, comment_type, comment_parent, user_id) VALUES (‘911’, ‘PaulaO’, ‘webmaster@paulaoffutt.com’, ‘http://paulaoffutt.com’, ‘24.196.164.164’, ‘2006-01-11 12:13:56’, ‘2006-01-11 17:13:56’, ‘Test comment.     Aborting Spam Karma

    Anyone have any idea what this means?

    UPDATE:

    Went to the database and discovered wp-comments was ‘over its space usage’. There was an option to optimize the table so I did. Now it works.

    Can anyone explain what happened? I am NO where near capacity for my host (Dreamhost).

    I am too old and too blonde for this sometimes.
