   There is a website that offers free subdomains for webpages. And WordPress comment spammers often use spam subdomains here to post comments trying to redirect visitors for pharmacy spam. The website is t35.com. Damage is captured in this video (QuickTime).

   Anyway, I presented this video to the website administrator. A guy e-mailed me back. What he said in the return message shocked me.

   He wrote,

   "The members you have pointed out have done nothing obvious that violates our terms of service or law."

   So he refused to remove them, adding that I should get a lawyer for a further battle.

   Do you agree with him?

   Boy you are a chatty one, arent you?

   Here's the nuts and bolts. And let's pretend we are ALL in the United States, just to avoid issues related to jurisdiction (see Australia for differences of opinion).

   1. Comment spam in it's __purest form__ is not illegal.

   2. Top that with companies that don't mention comment spam within their TOS or their AUP (and guess what, they DONT have to) and you have a spammer's marriage made in heaven.

   If you doubt me, take a long hard look at a company like layered technologies.

   Agree with him about what? You getting an attorney?
