Spam appearing on my blog? (3 posts)

    Hi
I recently discovered a, "add-on/Plugin" on my blog site. When I right click I see a No/dofollow option, on the right click menu. On my dashboard, wherever I see the "admin" tab, it appears as bright red; also, when I try to log in to the dashboard, the area around the username and password is also showing a bright red colour!

Now, inside my dashboard, whenever I click on one of the Bright red admin tabs, I am taken to the relevant page of my blog; however, after a few seconds, the page changes to a page full of adverts for "Steve McQueen" label clothes. At the top of this page my blog name WorldWar2Blogspot is clearly shown, like a H1 header.

I'd be very grateful if someone can cast some light on this and show me how to remove this problem.

    regards
    Teochter

    Hi Teochter,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your site. The first place to start would be with this information and steps to follow from the Codex:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked

Also, make sure you're using the latest version of WordPress. You may want to try this plugin as well to help you track down suspicious files or code:

    Hope this helps!
