• So I have been getting comments on my blog from a user called “Bulletin News” with an email address of admin @ mortgage-lender-network.com

I am not sure if this is spam or not? There are no adverts, only compliments. It somehow looked fishy to me so I did some googling. Seems this user posts the exact same comments on only wordpress blogs with the same wording only the post title injected.

    example:
Intriguing blog post discussing Techincal Kit Trim Issues. I love this articles.

I found other comments on other wp blogs with the exact same spelling mistakes and punctuation etc only the post title in place of mine.

What is this? some sort of comment bot?

    any ideas?

  • There’s no word linked to some website or something?
Maybe Lorelle has some information for you.

No. There are no links in the message. not even an email address. I just thought it was strange how the title was injected into the comment exactly as I had written it. Like a cut and paste.

    here is an example

Yes, odd indeed. I think Lorelle describes something like that in her article. You might want to install an anti spam plugin like this one before your spam gets really nasty.
(And read the article that I referred to, it is very informative.)
