So 2 days ago, i made "pretty" permalinks, and then a graphic started not showing up, so I, undid the permalinks, and made them ugly again (they were still pretty to me, but that's not important right now).

So I fixed the graphic thing, and then I got all this wierd crap in my comments like "gfgsdf456gf54df654df65sd4f56f4sdf54".

That kinda crap was posted in the name, comments field, and so forth.

Since it happened right after I had switched permalinks back, I thought it was that, like something got mucked up in the php.

So I go in the admin section to manage the comments, and I noticed all the comments had IP addresses, and some of them ended in "online casino". I was actually happy because I knew it wasnt the permalinks, but altogether, I had 27 comment spams!

I'm a first timer at being spammed, so I just thought I'd post this for anyone who doesnt know what the hell it looks like. I always thought that it actually advertised something, but apparently not.

It's a setup step, seemingly. If those seemingly random comments get in and get whitelisted by anti-spam software then later attempts to spam with real spam to those previously whitelisted email/URLs have a chance at getting through.
