    Hey there,

    My template's for emails show spaces, but the notifications that are sent do not contain spaces. Any ideas? Do the templates accept HTML? Can I just define <p> tags?

    Thanks!

    @artifaktCom,

    You haven't really given me enough information to give you a good answer. Are you talking about per-post or digest emails? Which email formats are affected? Plain text format, HTML or both?

    The templates do accept HTML tags but these will be stripped out for plaintext emails. Hope that helps.

    Hey mattyrob,

    Sorry for the lack of information. What I meant is, in the templates section of the plugins setting page, I have spaces in the template. For example:

    Aenean lacinia bibendum nulla sed consectetur.

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.

    But in the generated, email, it looks like this:

    Aenean lacinia bibendum nulla sed consectetur.
    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.

    Thanks!

    @artifaktCom,

    White space like that in your template will be preserved in any plaintext emails as thesee obey line breaks. HTML emails though do not obey line breaks in the content instead looking for layout tags like p and br tags. So, I suspect you are looking at HTML emails and that you need to put some tags into the template.

    Makes sense! Thanks for the quick reply mattyrob!
    The added html tags won't show up in the plain text emails as actual text will they?

    @artifaktCom,

    No, HTML gets stripped out for the plain text emails. Make your changes and click Send Previews on the Templates page to see what the emails would look like after your edits (make sure to save the changes first though).
