    I am running twentyeleven theme and have a space between the navigation link(s) and sub menu link(s) that appears to be keeping me from linking to the sub menu links. I can use the scroll wheel on my mouse to get to them but i am unable by simply hovering the cursor then linking.

  2. Sounds like there's a css issue? Can you provide a link to your site so we can check the code?

    Oops, thought I had that on there.

  4. Nice child theme. I like it.

    If you look at this section in your css:

    #access ul ul {
    	-moz-box-shadow: 0 3px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.2);
    	-webkit-box-shadow: 0 3px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.2);
    	box-shadow: 0 3px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.2);
    	display: none;
    	float: left;
    	margin: 0;
    	position: absolute;
    	top: 3.333em;
    	left: 0;
    	width: 188px;
    	z-index: 99999;
    }

    top: 3.333em; -- this positions the subnav. Just reduce that to 2.333em or whatever you think works best.
