    Hello!

    This is my first time using wordpress, I just wondered there was a massive space the header image, top menu and content of my blog?

    the site is here - http://www.seosilverback.co.uk

    Can anyone help - I'm sure it's a 5 second fix for someone in the know!

    Cheers,

    Tom

    Use a Browser Inspector Tool for this kind of exploration.

    Someone has modified the theme's stylesheet, instead of making changes in a CSS Manager plugin or a Child Theme's stylesheet. Make sure you transfer modifications to the theme's CSS into either of these.

    The reason is because the class topmenuarea has a margin top and bottom of 400px and 200px respectively on line 562 of the stylesheet. You can either remove that or you can modify it to your needs. Hope that helps. :)

    Cheers guys, that's solved it.

    While I'm here, how do you increase the spacing between the "BLog", "Who we are", "What we do" links, s they are evenly spaced across the line?

    One way of doing it would be removing the margin from the list items, making the width 33% and setting the text alignment to center starting from line 571

    width: 33%;
    text-align: center;

    Keep in mind that would only work if you maintain just those three menu links. :)
