I am having a little problem: everytime I use an apostrophe, a space will be created after the apostrophe. For example, "my father's house" will become "my father' s house". I think it happens only when you view the blog in Asian-language Windows OS. It is kind of annoying so I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. I checked all encoding settings and everything is set to unicode correctly.

Posted 5 years ago #I found a workaround that may help. I assume you are using Word...? Under the Autoformat/Autocorrect settings, disable the "Replace 'Straight Quotes' with 'Smart Quotes'" setting. That seemed to work for me. You will want to back out of Word and make sure it saves the setting. Good luck!
