    Hello Robert,
I’m running into a glitch here.

I have various layers and some inherit markers from other layers.

When I sort the layers on Alphabetical order, the layers which inherit markers screw up the marker count in those layers. All of a sudden I have way more markers in those layers. When I have a look at a map of such a layer, no such an amount of markers exist.

Toggling the Alphabetical order on and off switches the exaggerated amount in the inheriting layers also on and off…

    Have you seen this before?

  • havent noticed this before – on my installations the counts are ok – can you please specify more how these layers look like (singe layer, multi layer maps, how many markers should be counted vs how many actually are…

I’ve got 18 maps, of that, 10 multi layer maps. 1 multi layer map shows the correct count, 9 maps show inflated counts. These maps have all around 13 to 33 markers, but show a count of between 136 and 138.

btw: little correction to be made: When list all markers, it says:

    total x marker
    instead of
    total x markers

this applies also to the list of markers under the layers. No deal-breaker, just inconsequent.

thanks for the bug report – can confirm this. Will try to fix this for v3.0

ad marker/markers: already fixed for v3.0

puh – count is finally fixed – what a nasty bug – took me nearly 2 hours :-/ well – the good thing is, the fix will officially be included in v3.0 🙂
