Sorting Filter Not Working

The JQuery filter for sorting is not working on my plugin install. It is displaying the categories correctly, but fades everything out no matter what category you select from the filter.

Additionally – is there a way to edit the JS script so that rather than fading out the tiles, it displays only the relevant tiles to the selected category?
