Sort squad of players

Hi, I’m using this great plugin on a website of a professional team of Spanish football.
I have a question: how I can set the list of players the following order, PORTEROS, DEFENSE, midfielders and forwards.?
I tried, but when the order therefore selected for the above position rather than out in the order indicated, positions positions ordered by alphabetical order.

It is ordered as follows:

– Midfielders
– Defenses
– Forwards
– Janitors

but I want it to be as follows:

– Janitors
– Defenses
– Midfielders
– Forwards

I do not know if I have explained well.

@diegoterrones Great question. The positions are actually ordered alphabetically by slug, so a good technique is to change the slug for each position. For example,

Name: Goalkeeper
Slug: 1-goalkeeper

Name: Defender
Slug: 2-defender

Name: Midfielder
Slug: 3-midfielder

Name: Forward
Slug: 4-forward

The slugs can be modified via Players > Positions > Edit. I hope this makes sense 🙂

@diegoterrones Thank you for the link. It seems that positions were ordered by slug only in our Premier theme and not in the plugin itself. I’ve fixed this and just released SportsPress version 1.1.8, which automatically orders positions by slug. You’ll see the correct order once you update to the new version 🙂

@ttemplate I’ll chime in here to help. When creating a list, select “Position” from the “Grouping” dropdown to display players in groups according to their position.
