Sort Order

http://wordpress.org/support/topic/order-by-4?replies=1I then paid a programmer to fix this solution which was successful. Having updated to the new version I am now back to having the sort order problem where ReadyEcommerce is sorting by name and not by date.
Why is there no option to sort by date?????
