    Hi,
    We installed your plugin yesterday but can’t get it work.

    1. The plugin says “Sorry, there seems to be an error on the server. Please try again later.” when typing in an email. I have tried to register a new e-mail for this purpose, but it doesn’t work anyway.

    2. Even if I try to register the adress manualy at the subscribers tab, (Add/Remove Subscribers) they doesn’t show up in the list.
    But I don´t get any error codes or something.

    Best regards

  • @gaard,

    1/ You see this error message as the attempt to send the confirmation email is reporting failure – this is further proven by the email not arriving at the subscribers inbox. Make sure you are sending from an on domain-email address in the Settings, and an email address that actually exists and has an inbox. The best way to do this is to create an admin level user account using an email address on the same domain as your blog. By this I mean if your blog is http://www.example.com then the address should be something like admin@example.com.

    2/ I am unable to reproduce this issue. Are you in the “Public” subscribers tab in the Subscriber2->Subscribers page? Are you “filtered” on “public Subscribers” and not “confirmed” or “unconfirmed”?

    Thanks for your answer.

    1)I have tried to change adress. There is an adress at the same domain. It’s possible to send testmail from the system

    2) look at the video

    @gaard,

    Try removing the Swedish translation files – they are over 5 years old. I’m not sure if that could break things but it’s worth excluding as the code has changes massively in the last 5 years.

    Also, did you get Subscribe2 from WordPress.org? Don’t use code with hard coded translations as any changes to the file cannot be known to me.
