I'm trying to edit files and I keep getting a "Sorry, that file can't be edited." Help!
My site is http://www.ricksrss.com. I have another WordPress blog on the same web host and that blog is fine.

Can you be more specific as to what files your trying to edit and what method you are using to edit these files?

I can't edit any files. I can't get to them. When I'm in Dashboard and click on the editor link I get the message "Sorry, that file can't be edited." I can still write and edit posts. But I can't get into the edit panel. Have I been hacked?

Are your permissions set correctly? If your file permissions are locked down, you can't edit files from the theme editor/plugin editor areas. (if you do change the file permissions ot make them editable, be sure to change them back when you're done.)

I was just experiencing a similar problem. I had the plugin Theme Switch installed (WordPress 2.9) and when I deactivated it, life was good again. Hope this helps.
