• For a while now I occasional see this error message when I try and login:

Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.

Clearing my cache or entering the login details again works so I have ignored the problem. However this may frustrate the client when they login so whats going on? I see from other posts people have been permanently blocked so this concerns me.

I don’t think its a host issue or a plugin issue, I think the problem started to occur on a WP update.

    Any thoughts?

This is more like to be a server sessions or cookie issue. Have you spoken to your hosts about it. Or checked your server error logs?

Thanks Tara I will do but my gut says its a WP thing as it started to happen after I installed version 3.8.1

I am running APC Object Cache Backend, maybe that causes an issue?

You can find out by deactivating it.

Thanks Tara but its not that simple as the issue is very intermittent. I guess its not really a problem unless I get permanently locked out!
