Something is wrong with my post’s hyperlink and category trouble

Whenever I click on a post’s title or click on a post on recent entries in the sidebar, it takes me to a white page with [quote]Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/animati1/public_html/wp-content/themes/Finishing-Touch/single.php on line 25[/quote] so I check out single.php but I don’t find anything wrong or missing.

As for my categories, whenever I make a post, I can’t choose the category it goes in even though I have 2, please help me out 🙁
