   My host told me to come here to ask for help. How can I repair or fix the damage.

   My comments are gone. Is there a way to retrieve them?

   What should I do?

   Start by reviewing this info - http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked

   I'm not sure how the comments disappeared, but the only way to recover those is to go revert to a previous database back up. Hopefully you have one or your host does.

   I do have a backup. A week and a half old so that's not bad.

   No that's actually really good. Good luck and don't forget to upgrade to the latest version of WP.
