[resolved] Somehow made comments option disappear (8 posts)

Hi, all! Somehow when I was setting up my blog a couple months ago I think I must have made the "comment" button disappear? I asked a friend to comment on my blog yesterday, and she responded to me that there is no option for her to comment...

    Here's my site: http://www.blog.megwilsonphotography.com

My theme is Origami. I have looked and looked on my dashboard to see if there was somewhere that I just turned it off, but can't find anything.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Oh, in "discussion" I have "allow people to post comments on new articles" checked.

Your post comment button is there. Perhaps she was looking on the home page instead of a single post.

  4. @ravZen is right, the comment form is there. Your friend probably didn't know that you have to click on the post title to see the comment form.

I can see that the original theme has a link to the categories and a comment link, maybe put that back in, or show just a few images on your main post and then add a more link?

    Hi,
New WordPress user here and I'm using the same theme Origami.
I could have sworn there was a Comment link below every post initially, then after fudging around for a few things getting it how I like I realise that it is a) No longer there or b) Never was there.
Having said that I feel that I'd like the option for a comment link beneath each post.

I tried pasting <?php comments_popup_link('No Comments', '1 Comment', '% Comments'); ?> in what I thought was an appropriate place in loop.php but obviously it is not right.

    Can someone help?

    Cheers,

    Jon

If you require further support than that provided in this thread, create your own thread on the issue, Huntershooter. Otherwise it becomes difficult to track down who's having which issue per thread.

    Thanks,
