    Hi,

    I use wordpress 1.2.2

    Somebody has hacked my wordpress. He change the user password and email (level 10). I know this because I log on as another author (level 9) What can I do? Anybody can help? Thanks

    you should upgrade to 1.5.2

    go to your control panel , in your host

    access MySql , change the email , reset your password

    and Updateeeee

    if u cant , contact your host to tell them about this issue .

    1.2.2 has a known vulnerability.

    a. Change ALL your site passwords.
    b. Get a database backup now.
    c. Download your site files now.
    Then clear all the wordpress files

    You are going to need to upgrade to 1.5.2

    As soon as you restore the database (guide for that ath the above site) you must delete any other users and then change your login and password too.

    Do at least a,b and c then post back with any questions.
