Firstly, big thanks for WordPress in general. Great to have such a valuable free resource.
Both the last 2 versions, .2 and .3, have significant problems. Up to now, it's been alternate versions that don't work properly, but now it's two in a row. My system is XP-Pro-SP2, and entering Tags for a post is impossible, and inserting an image using the button doesn't work either. At least these versions correctly switch from Html to visual post editing OK (some of the earlier versions would not switch).

Not had any such problems on XP or Win 7 myself.
I use XP Pro SP2 (am using at this moment).
Try to use a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox).

thanks for the reply.
I mostly use Firefox, but have tried IE before with this type of problem and it makes no difference.

That's ... really weird. It's most likely something's wrong on your PC. Can you test on another?

Yes, I get the exact same problems on other computers, such as in internet-cafe. Maybe it's BlueHost?

Possibly, but that's on the edge. How about this.
1) Try a MANUALLY re-install.
Delete wp-admin and wp-includes, copy the files up from a FRESH download of the WP core files
If that fails....
2) Turn off all your plugins.

thanks for the suggestions. I'll give that a go sometime.
I've certainly tried all that on previous versions that had some of the same problems, with no improvement, and as I say, I had the exact same problems using an internet cafe before.
But thanks anyway, I'll keep that in mind.
