    Have been having an issue sporadically and couldn't figure out what was going on until this morning: VERY sporadically, a post, page, tag, cateory, or even the main page will not load - no header, nothing but a white background.

    This morning I realized that this page will not load: http://springsbargains.com/2009/10/king-soopers-weekly-deals-october-28-november-3/

    However, it loads just fine if I add the 'www' in there: http://www.springsbargains.com/2009/10/king-soopers-weekly-deals-october-28-november-3/

    This is a VERY sporadic issue but I've got to think there's something that I can do to keep it from happening. Any suggestions?

    Anyone have any ideas? It happened again this week with another post. See this:

    http://springsbargains.com/2009/11/king-soopers-weekly-deals-november-5-11-including-the-mega-event/

    versus this:

    http://www.springsbargains.com/2009/11/king-soopers-weekly-deals-november-5-11-including-the-mega-event/

    It loads without the 'www' on some computers but not others.

    HELP, please!

    Ok, older post...but no answer ever posted...so here's what I did.

    The standard .htaccess file for WordPress is

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    I added a couple extra lines and substituted my domain's address.

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.YOURDOMAIN.COM$ [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.YOURDOMAIN.COM/$1 [L,R=301]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    This forces all addresses to the www. version.
