Some permalinks don’t work, but most do.

    My edit and title links don’t work for ANY single posts or ANY single pages or for the first post’s title & edit listed in SOME categories or the first post’s title & edit SOME archives.

    All of my edit and title links work for my main home page that lists my latest posts.

    This problem began when I changed my WordPress theme. If you can help me, please know I’m a novice at editing php files. I have done a lot of successful editing in the past to those files, but I need ALL of the steps when I do so.

    Now I think (maybe I’m wrong?) that all the permalinks for my post titles are working, but the edit links are still malfunctioning. I doubt the link to my site will be of much help with that.

    I just noticed something odd when I move my mouse over the titles. If I start from the right end of the title and gradually move the mouse pointer to the left side of the title, the permalink popup window disappears.

    Being the the edit link is all the way to the left, it seems to be out of the range for allowing the option to click on it.

    I solved the issue. It had to do with the theme’s design. I’d explain if I could, but since I did so many steps and alterations, I doubt I’d make any sense.
