• In the widgets the pictures do show up, but the logo in the header doesnt and neither the pictures in the header slider. I am using a free theme (iTheme2).

When I look up the image path in the browser it says:

    `<blockquote>A WordThumb error has occured
    The following error(s) occured:

Could not fetch remote file http://localhost/the ara project 2.0/WordPress/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/DSCN7028.jpg: file_get_contents(http://localhost/the ara project 2.0/WordPress/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/DSCN7028.jpg) [<a href=’function.file-get-contents’>function.file-get-contents</a>]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

    Query String : src=http://localhost/the%20ara%20project%202.0/WordPress/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/DSCN7028.jpg&w=220&h=160&q=100
    WordThumb version : 1.07</blockquote>

It seems the images uploaded to widgets (directly to wordpress file) work, but the ones uploaded specifically by the theme don’t.

Help? This is my first attempt at using WordPress. I installed on my localhost with XAMPP.

    Hei,

simple prob… try to make writable this!!

    /wp-content/themes/itheme2/cache/

The error message means: WordThumb version : 1.07

    that needs write permission
