   Hi there!

   I've got a problem with the loop.
   I've read the codex, tried some examples, but it didn't worked out very well.

   I want to have an indexpage with 1 full post (the latest) and somewhere else on the same page 4 titles/permalinks of the last 4 previous posts (excluding the latest ofcourse) .. something you can find @ autohacks.net.

   I really don't know where to start anymore because of all the errors!
   Is there anyone who can help me with this?

   Something like you can see if you click on my name? (but only titles, not the excerpts below)
   I had a similar question a while ago - though I wanted on the top always the latest from a specific category. See the replies to my question, that's what is working on my site now:

   Edit. The site you linked to is using the Squible theme - that would do it for you.
