Some formatting is lost when comment is held for moderation

    When I post a comment containing Markdown using this plugin, some of the formatting is lost if the comment is held for moderation. If the comment is posted immediately the formatting is fine.

    I haven’t explored completely to see what formatting is lost and what isn’t, but it seems like strong & em formatting is kept, but lists are lost, so maybe it’s an issue of block vs span level formatting.

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for reporting this – I’ll look into it. It sounds like it could possible be permissions based: WordPress has different levels of filters (stripping out HTML) for users with various capabilities.
