Some Categories Not Showing (4 posts)

    Hi,

    I was trying to assing meta-tags to my posts and then all my posts vanished. I was getting some error like [Can't open file: 'wp_posts.MYI']. I searched for it and found out that I need to repair my SQL DB. I repaired the DB and everything was fine again except that some of the categories are not showing on the sidebar.

    Also, only those categories are not showing that have larger number of posts (between 40-200). Any idea what the problem may be?

    The website is http://www.aligarians.com

    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Mohib

    As I see part of your categories appears in the horizontal navbar and not in the sidebar.
    It seems to be a theme-specific issue, so your best bet would be to contact the theme author. (Or review your editing - if any)

    No, tha horizontal navbar is just showing the links which I have put there. It shows an external link, links to a couple of pages I have made and to some of the categories. I am not pulling up the categories there but just made some links manually.

    On the side-bar I am using the following code to pull up the categories,

    <?php wp_list_cats('sort_column=name&optioncount=1&children=0'); ?>

    I have been using the same for a long time and never had any problem. Please note, only those categories are not showing that have a large number of posts.

    Thanks,
    Mohib

    I have restored the DB from yesterday and it is working fine. But I still don't know why some of the categories were not showing.

    Thank you to everyone who read and responded.

    Best,
    Mohib
