    Hi, I have the same problem. I entered the image url in frontpage and default settings but the image used when the post is shared isn't the one I selected.

    When I check the post on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug, the image that I selected isn't displayed either.

    Would appreciate a help to resolve this!

    Cheers~

    Hi cuestablanco,

    I went back to check the image URL that I keyed in. I noticed that when I pressed ctrl-v, the URL that was pasted wasn't the one that I wanted. So I changed the URL to the one I wanted and it works.

    So the problem has been resolved for me. I hope that it works for you too. Double check your URL in the frontpage and default image.

    Cheers~

    @cuestablanco

    By the looks of it, you are not using WP SEO for the og: tags, but another plugin - possibly the Facebook plugin ?

    So this is not a problem with WP SEO, please ask for support in the right place and close this topic.

    of course i am using wordpress SEO by Yoast

    and i already configured the og tags with the img url, but for some reason they are not being displayed.

    is there any way to attacht a screen shot to show you?

    Yup, just upload the screenshot to any of the image websites available and link to it in a post. (for instance: http://snag.gy/ )

    And I realize that you are using WP SEO, but have a look at the source code of your website: the og: tags are not within the header block generated by the WP SEO plugin. I.e.: the og tags are currently *not* generated by WP SEO.
    I can also see in the source that you are using the Facebook plugin, so this is the most likely source of the og tags at this moment.

    I repeat: this is not a WP SEO issue, please close this topic.

    Considering that in your case, it's the facebook plugin which is sending the output, I suggest you ask there.
    Otherwise, switch to WP SEO for the social tags and I kind of think you won't have a problem anymore....
