We are very sorry for that, but we had a little bug in the latest version that we already patched and should solve this issue.
Here’s what you should do:
- Go to the WordPress plugins page.
- Deactivate MailPoet.
- Delete MailPoet.
- Install MailPoet again.
Rest assured you won’t lose any data, the database will not be touched.
Let us know if that solves your issue.
Best regards,
Hi there,
I have the exact same issue here.
I have tried your solution as mentioned above and unfortunately this didn’t solve the issue.
As mentioned on your Support page on mailpoet.com I also have tried this:
4 steps to diagnose a conflict with our plugin
Try with another browser Same Issue
Try with another WordPress theme Same issue
Disable all other plugins one-by-one until the editor works Same issue
If you identify the culprit, contact the authors of the plugin or theme
I also tried the default wordpress theme and this also didn’t solve the issue.
The rest like: Titles & Text, WordPress Post, Divider (and options),
Image does work.
I hope you can resolve this issue, because I really like this plugin but want to add Social Media buttons as well.
UPDATE!
I enabled the beta version 2.6.6.4 and it works.
I don’t know what’s different in the betaversion, but it solved this problem for me. (Still with all plugins turned off and standard theme).
I am going to try with everything on and will update the results.
UPDATE 2
I activated all plugins that I use and activated the Theme I use (Woothemes Artificer)
With the Mailpoet Beta version adding the social bar to a mail now works.
Great to hear that.
I’m closing this topic now.
