That pretty much sums it up. Same thing happens if i just hit Ctrl+Z. All of the content just disappears, leaving only the last line of text from the page. Oh and it has only happened in visual editing mode, which I try to avoid anyway, but sometimes I just have to use it.
Also, this may just be some sort of compatibility issue, but I use a Shelfari widget and every time I edit the page I have to copy the code for the widget again, otherwise it just has some hyperlinked text in its place. Just thought i'd throw that out there.
I've just tested this on one of my 3.3.1 installs and I cannot replicate your Ctrl+Z issue (and I use Ctrl+Z all of time). So this is specific to your site. Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
