Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've used wordpress. I vaguely remember being able to take the page.php and rename it to page-XX.php and then whatever page number matched what was in the XX spot would automatically use that php file.
Is that no longer used in 2.8?

For Pages, that may have worked at one time, but currently, when writing Pages, you have the ability to assign a Template to each and every Page. If you don't assign a Template it will use page.php and if page.php is not there it will use index.php.
The -XX thing does work with categories.
