Smush.it 404 error on several sites

    Hello,

    I’ve installed the plugin Smush.it in 2 of my sites, and when i press in Media>Bulk Smush.it to run, it takes around 4-5mins then a 404 Error page shows up.

    This happen in both sites.

    My permalinks are set as “Post name”.

    How can I fix it?

    Sorry to hear you had some trouble with that, we’d love to get that sorted though! Unfortunately since this wasn’t posted to the plugin’s forums it got missed til now. You can always post to the plugin’s forums here:

    We keep a keen eye there and will gladly assist with any reported issues.

    In this case, can I ask if you’re using a CDN? Are the files hosted locally in your WordPress site?

    If you could provide a url to an image on your site too, we could take a closer look to see what the issue is.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the reply. So not sure about the CDN. My sites are hosted on Dreamhost.com. All files are loaded into the WP Media library. I’ve deactivated and removed the plugin, so not sure if it needs to be active for you to test against?
