smtp working, contact form 7 not | WordPress.org

I can’t figure it out, I moved to bluehost and cannot get cf7 working. I have another account there and it works fine.

I’m using WP-Mail-SMTP and I can send a test mail just fine, but cf7 keeps giving me the red box of death.

any ideas?

I ended up figuring it out – bluehost did not like that my to (or from, can’t remember now) was the same as the domain. Once I changed that all is well.

I’m a novice in building a web site. I downloaded Contact Form 7 and have installed it as a Plug-In in WordPress (iPage). I then installed it as a sidebar widget. But when I exit WordPress and then re-enter, Contact Form 7 drops-out and I have to re-install it. This happens no matter what Theme or template I use. QUESTIONS: How can I get Contact Form 7 to stay in place? Is there a more reliable Contact Form I can download? Thanks for the help.
