SMTP server

    hy everyone ,
    i’m using wordpress 2.7 as well as xampp as a host, the problem is , i cant get the mail function to work , even with the smtp plugin and a gmail smtp server , i can see the “the e-mail was sent ” but i don’t receive any of them in my inbox.
    any help will be appreciated thanx

    hy there,
    i just installed the SHIFTTHIS plugin, it’s seems very easy to use , but i get this msfg error
