The current template that I'm using has strange styles for image. Well, it's not strange for big images, but it's really strange for smileys. ;) What I want to do is make it so that the smileys get a different class (like .smiley or something) than the rest of the images so that I can style them separately. Does anyone have any idea of how to do this?

Are you sure they don't already have a unique class?

Oh wow - I never actually looked to see if they did! Smileys do have their own class! Thanks for helping. ;)

How do I make my smilies align with my text? They site about 7px above the text line at the moment.
