   I'm using Smart Youtube (latest version) and the videos are not displaying in post excerpts. It's showing the code instead. You can see it on the front page here:

   http://bellydancebazaar.org/

   If you click and read the full post, the video displays correctly.

   Anyone any idea how to fix it?

   (note: I know this plugin isn't so essential these days because you can embed videos easily in the newer versions of WordPress, however I have lots of old posts that use it, and I'd have to do an awful lot of editing if I decided to stop using it. Besides, I've used this plugin for years and it's been very reliable up till now. So I really, really would like to find a fix.

   I resolved this accientally by changing my theme, so it must have been a theme conflict.

   ...and I realized that even though WordPress embeds videos, Smart Youtube is still really valuable, because it effectively turns the video into the equivalent of a featured image on excerpts. Very neat.
