• We are seeing Blubrry PowerPress taking over 30% of the plugin execution time for one of our sites and weighs in at the biggest plugin on the runtime that we have. It has us rather concerned as we are in a situation where time for page execution is becoming more important.

Are there any steps we can take to make it more efficient?

We found this information with P3.

I responded to your inquiry on the blubrry.com forums. Link: forum.blubrry.com/index.php/topic,4164.new.html

I’m going to need specific details to replicate the situation to see what the problem is with your specific site. The fact that you do not have this problem on your other sites running PowerPress makes me believe something else is causing the issue and PowerPress is just amplifying the problem. Only way to find out what is happening is to replicate the site in our sandbox.
